On May 13, the Estate of Michael Jackson will bulk up with the release of Xscape, a posthumous release by the King of Pop.
Though Jackson died in 2009, a number of top producers — including Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, Stargate, and John McClain — have worked with Epic Records’ L.A. Reid on the project, which was pieced together from “decades of material.” According to the press release, Reid and company “contemporized” the songs “while retaining Jackson’s essence and integrity, creating the best music you’ve never heard.” Continue reading
