Legendary actor, Pete Edochie and producer of the award-wining film,
“Flower Girl”, Michelle Bello, emerged the big winners at this year’s
edition of the AfricaMagic Viewers Choice Award, AMVCA, which held
weekend, with each walking away with a brand new Hyundai SUV car.
Edochie, who has sojourned in the movie industry for 35 years after playing the lead role of Okonkwo in an NTA adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s all time best selling novel, “Things Fall Apart” in the 80s, was honoured with the Industry Merit Award for his contribution towards the growth of the film sector in Africa.
